Born in Almería in 1959, the sculptor and painter Mª Ángeles Lázaro GUIL lived and worked in Mexico, Canada, Italy, France and Spain, where he currently resides. Enfoque artístico
GUIL works mainly in the field of public sculpture and installation in outdoor spaces, He has a predilection for abstract emotional geometry. He is inspired by nature itself, which he explores mathematically and transforms it with the desire to subvert its apparent forms, those of human imagination and notion of proportion in sculpture. It belongs to the avant-garde of the second half of the 20th century in Andalusia. He has received numerous awards in national and international art competitions for public sculpture and singular architecture. GUIL does not show much interest in issues of human nature and focuses on color, fractal shapes of flora and fauna or any other natural element closely related to nature. to aspects of the environment, such as the formal, political, historical or social context of environmental management.
